About the role
Imperial Business School is seeking to appoint five research leaders within the School’s key societal challenge areas: health, sustainability, AI & digital business, technology entrepreneurship and innovation, and social equality.
The posts are enabled by a philanthropic donor who supports and believes in the great potential of business school research to effect sustained change in business and society. This aspiration reflects Imperial’s quest to improve the lives of people, and aligns with Imperial’s investment in interdisciplinary inquiry.
Suitable candidates will:
- have a track record of disciplinary excellence in one of the School’s research areas
- routinely work across disciplinary boundaries and with users of academic knowledge
- have demonstrated their research has resulted in significant impact on economy, society or government.
Successful candidates will be appointed to one of the four Business School departments that best matches their area of research: Analytics, Marketing and Operations; Economics and Public Policy; Finance; Management and Entrepreneurship.
Candidates are expected to have an outstanding record of impactful research, the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and student experience, and the ability to perform key service and leadership responsibilities within the School.
