Postdoctoral Scholar
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral scholar position in WBG & UWBG semiconductors in LeeLab at Texas State University. The group’s research focuses on electronic materials, with a specialization in wide-bandgap oxide semiconductors and microscopy characterization. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong knowledge in the areas of WBG & UWBG semiconductors, nanofabrication, and electrical/materials characterization. Preference will be given to applicants with extensive experience in one or more of the areas below:
- WBG & UWBG semiconductors process integration and device fabrication.
- Oxides and Nitrides thin-film growth/deposition with PVD/CVD/ALD.
- Scanning/transmission electron microscopy (S/TEM) characterizations.
The appointment will be in the Department of Physics at Texas State University, working with Dr. Ming-Hsun Lee: https://sites.google.com/view/lee-research-lab. The position is available immediately for an initial one-year appointment, with the possibility of extension based on performance and/or external funding.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates should hold (or soon to obtain) a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline, and demonstrate potential for outstanding research in electronic materials and devices.
