Part-time Lecturer
Job Description
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses based on the approved syllabus;
- Assisting in networking the regional and international community for the promotion of the area and the preparation for professional development of graduates;
- Participating in activities such as concert performances and outreach programmes regionally and internationally;
- Instructing the training and performing of the chamber music ensembles.
Qualification Requirement
- Applicants should have a minimum of five years of substantial professional experience in teaching or with internationally recognized orchestras or opera houses, preferably at the principal, assistant principal, or section leadership level. Alternatively, candidates may demonstrate extensive participation in major international festivals at a high artistic level;
- A Master’s degree or above in Percussion or a related discipline is required;
- Demonstrated engagement in teaching, coaching, or mentoring activities, with the ability to deliver instruction in professional-level performance training, including orchestral repertoire, ensemble work, and advanced instrumental technique;
- Proven record of international performance activity, including collaborations with leading conductors, orchestras, or participation in prestigious music festivals;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to teach in an international academic environment (fluency in English required);
- A high level of professionalism, artistic integrity, and commitment to the development of advanced music students.
