Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Coordinator, Student Conduct. The Student Conduct Coordinator primarily supports the investigation and adjudication of academic misconduct cases, while also addressing behavioral misconduct involving students and student organizations. In this role, the Coordinator facilitates a fair, equitable, and educational conduct process that promotes student learning, accountability, and the development of integrity, helping students understand the impact of their decisions and fostering responsible behavior. The Coordinator also develops and delivers proactive educational programming focused on academic integrity, ethical decision-making, and personal responsibility. As an active contributor to the daily operations of the Office of Student Integrity, this position collaborates with faculty and campus partners through outreach and liaison activities to cultivate a community grounded in respect, accountability, and shared standards. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Conduct and Integrity, this position is based on the Gainesville campus and requires travel to other campuses as needed.
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and holds the responsibility of serving as a mandatory reporter for all Clery Act crimes.
Responsibilities
- Adjudicate academic misconduct cases with a focus on promoting student learning and accountability.
- Adjudicate behavioral misconduct cases by facilitating student conduct conferences that encourage reflection, responsibility, and personal development.
- In collaboration with Office of Student Integrity staff, investigate behavioral and student organization misconduct cases that occur on and off campus.
- Maintain accurate, timely case records in conduct management system (Maxient).
- Assist in the development and delivery of proactive educational programming for all Code of Conduct matters.
- Support training, education, and outreach initiatives for student committee panelists, Residence Life staff, athletes, students participating in international programs, the Corps of Cadets, and other campus partners.
- Assist in the administration of all student conduct panel hearings to ensure fairness.
