Introduction
Peking University is the birthplace of Chinese Marxism, the earliest activity base of the Communist Party of China, and the birthplace of Chinese Marxist theoretical education. As early as the beginning of the 20th century, Li Dazhao and other teachers and students of Peking University started the activities of learning and disseminating Marxism at Peking University. In 1992, the School of Marxism of Peking University was established, which was the first school of Marxism established in China. In 2016, the college was identified as the first batch of "National Key Marxist Colleges" by the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Education.
