Zhenlin Li is a PhD candidate in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, Dunedin, within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Otago. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine (BMed) from HuNan and a Master of Medicine (MMed) from GuangZhou. As part of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Research Group, his doctoral research focuses on the use of diabetes technologies and factors affecting glycaemic control in children and young people with diabetes. Specifically, Li's PhD explores advanced diabetes technologies, particularly the efficacy of novel automated insulin delivery combined with adjunctive therapies in type 1 diabetes, and the early use of sensor technologies in people with type 2 diabetes.
This work aims to enhance the management of diabetes in paediatric populations through innovative technological interventions.
