About Yihui

Yihui Lan is a Senior Lecturer in finance within the Accounting and Finance discipline of the UWA Business School at the University of Western Australia. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China, followed by an MBA and a PhD in international finance from the University of Western Australia. Her primary research interests encompass international finance, empirical asset pricing, commodity economics, and financial econometrics. Lan has maintained a sustained academic career at UWA, progressing through roles including Lecturer in the Financial Studies Discipline and Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance from 2010 to 2016, to her current position as Senior Lecturer.
