Teaching Fellow Terry Kerr is affiliated with the Department of Economics in the Otago Business School at the University of Otago. Kerr's qualifications include a B Min.Tech., BA, Post Grad Dip. from the University of Otago, Dip. Teach from ChCh, and TESOL Cert from Otago Polytechnic.
Prior to joining the University of Otago, Terry Kerr worked in secondary education and as a professional development coach in rugby union. He subsequently taught economics courses at preparatory, foundation, and undergraduate levels in several New Zealand universities. In his role as Teaching Fellow, Kerr contributes to the instruction of first-year and second-year economics papers. His teaching portfolio encompasses BSNS113 Economic Principles and Policy, ECON112 Principles of Macroeconomics, ECON201 Microeconomics, and ECON202 Macroeconomics. He handles administrative tasks such as tutorial stream changes and other queries for these courses. Kerr also serves as an Academic Subject Adviser for Economics, offering guidance on academic matters to students. Of late, he has developed an interest in international political economy and international relations.
