Tanya Kinslow serves as the Goldfields UDRH Clinical Nurse Facilitator at Curtin University. The Goldfields University Department of Rural Health (GUDRH) is based at Curtin University's Kalgoorlie campus and contributes to the health and wellbeing of Goldfields communities through education, engagement, and research programs. Funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care via the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program, the GUDRH is one of 19 University Departments of Rural Health in Australia. It collaborates with the WA Country Health Service and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Operations to strengthen the recruitment and retention of nursing and allied health professionals in the Goldfields region.
Tanya Kinslow celebrated International Nurses Day on 12 May 2025 with Curtin University nursing students. The event focused on the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future. Caring for nurses strengthens economies,” highlighting nurse health and wellbeing. The GUDRH supports local health professionals, clinical supervisors, and preceptors with specialised training, workshops, and resources to enhance supervisory skills and facilitate positive placement experiences for students and clinicians.
