Suranjini Silva serves as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Systems Engineering within the Faculty of Computing at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). She holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Information Technology specialized in Computer Systems and Networking from SLIIT, completed in 2010 with Second Class Honours (Upper Division), and an MSc in Information Technology with Merit from SLIIT between 2011 and 2013. Prior to her role at SLIIT, where she has progressed to Senior Lecturer, Silva taught Computing to grades 3 and 4 at Lyceum International School in Wattala from October 2006 to April 2012.
Her academic interests center on Computer Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), and Intelligent Systems. Silva has published numerous conference papers demonstrating practical technological innovations.
