Dr. Suman Mor is a Professor in the Department of Environment Studies at Panjab University, Chandigarh, a position she holds after serving as Associate Professor since 2006. She obtained her M.Tech. and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2006. Her research interests include environment, sanitation, and health, with expertise in environmental pollution, municipal solid waste management, air pollution, groundwater pollution, waste characterization, emissions from crop residue burning, adsorption of heavy metals, health risk assessment, climate change impacts, and cleaner production strategies. She has served as Chairperson of the Department of Environment Studies and is actively involved in initiatives such as the CHAMP project on clean air and as Coordinator-India (North) for the Climate Compatible Growth Programme.
Dr. Mor has produced over 135 publications, including 111 journal articles, 3 book chapters, and others, demonstrating substantial impact in environmental science.
