Seeram Ramakrishna is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He serves as Director of the Center for Nanofibers and Nanotechnology. He earned his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Ramakrishna is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng).
