Rate My Professor Sandra Burgess

In the University staff directory, Sandra Burgess appears under multiple roles: Administrator - Operations, Administrator - Humanities, both in Dunedin with the same contact details. She serves as the Key Contact for the Irish & Scottish Studies programme (AAW) in the School of Arts, Division of Humanities, as documented in an official university human resources document. In September 2022, Sandra Burgess graduated from a University of Otago Mental Health First Aid course, where she highlighted the value of learning to approach individuals with mental health challenges and handle difficult conversations. Her administrative support is recognized in doctoral theses archived in OUR Archive; for instance, the author of a thesis on translating biographies of George Washington thanked her for supportive work and warm-hearted greetings, while another appreciated her for making the office inviting during their PhD tenure in the History Programme.
