Sachin Kaushik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences at Delhi Institute of Science and Technology (DIST), Delhi. He earned his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Mechanical Engineering. With eight years of experience, his areas of academic interest include Manufacturing Design and 3D Printing. The department supports the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering program by delivering foundational courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, programming languages, and engineering graphics, promoting theoretical knowledge alongside practical laboratory work and project-based learning to cultivate problem-solving skills and technological innovation among students.
In addition to teaching first-year subjects such as Engineering Graphics-I (EG-101), BS-103, BS-105, and BS-155, Mr. Kaushik plays a pivotal role in administrative and student support initiatives. He serves as Convener of the Time Table Committee, overseeing schedules for odd and even semesters effective from September 2025, in collaboration with Dr. Saarthak Dulgaj. He is a member of the Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC), Anti-Ragging Committee, Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), and the Internal Committee for Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace, all established on August 1, 2025. Furthermore, he coordinates extracurricular activities including industrial visits to Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd. on September 16, 2025, Croma Campus in October 2025, and a seminar on Procter & Gamble kits for students in November 2025, accompanied by fellow faculty members.
