Ross Blanch is a Senior Administrator in the Divisional Services and Administration team within Shared Services at the University of Otago's Information Technology Services (ITS) division in Dunedin, New Zealand. His direct dial number is +64 3 470 4655. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Otago.
Blanch has a distinguished history of leadership within the Otago University Students' Association (OUSA). He served as OUSA President from May 1986 to December 1987, during which he organized protest marches related to user-pays policies and North Dunedin land re-zoning issues. Earlier, he was OUSA Information Officer in 1983 and 1984, and later held roles as Advertising Manager and Critic in 1988. He returned to OUSA as General Manager, where he managed the association's recreation facilities. Blanch is a Life Member of OUSA in recognition of his contributions. Prior to his current position, he worked for some time at the Otago Museum and had a brief involvement in commercial radio.
