Professor Md. Ridhwanul Haq serves as Professor of Marketing at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Western Sydney, Australia, a Master of Management from The Australian National University, Australia, an MBA in Marketing, and a BBA in Marketing from the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. In his career, Professor Haq has coordinated the Management Development Program at IBA and contributed to projects for the Ministry of ICT, food, and industries. He has provided expertise in strategy formulation and policy making across various service sectors. Additionally, he has served as a visiting professor at Taylor's University, Malaysia. Professor Haq currently acts as Independent Director on the boards of National Tubes, Samorita Hospital, Agni Systems, and Atlas Bangladesh Limited.
Professor Haq has produced a substantial body of scholarly work, including numerous publications in well-accredited, peer-reviewed journals published domestically and internationally. Among his key contributions is the authorship of Bangladesh Business Cases, the first-ever business case book in Bangladesh, with its first edition released in 2021 and second edition in 2022, dedicated to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This publication compiles success stories of local companies and serves as a reference for undergraduate courses in principles of marketing, management, finance, and business introduction. His research focuses on marketing and consumer behavior, reflected in works such as Factors Driving Female Bangladeshi University Students to Wear Hijab (2023, co-authored with Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun) and Dumping, Anti-dumping Measures and International Business: The Case of Bangladesh (Journal of Business Administration, co-authored with Syed H Rahman). Professor Haq's contributions extend to editorial roles and supervision of postgraduate research at IBA.
