Riddhi Khurana serves as Country Adviser for the South Asia region within the University of Otago's International Office. Based offshore in India, she is a key member of the International Marketing and Recruitment Team. This team is responsible for promoting and developing the University's international profile, managing marketing strategy, recruiting international students, handling strategic international partner relationship management, and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies for international students. Riddhi Khurana supports prospective students from South Asia, facilitating their engagement with the University of Otago through targeted recruitment efforts and liaison activities.
Riddhi Khurana has been actively involved in high-level initiatives to expand the University of Otago's presence in India. In February 2026, she joined senior leadership—including Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Innovation Distinguished Professor Greg Cook, Director Te Whirika - International Jason Cushen, and Director Development and External Engagement Andrew McCosh—for the Otago Connect alumni event in New Delhi, contributing to building networks on the ground with alumni and partners. Previously, in October 2025, she participated in an academic roadshow in Mumbai as Country Advisor, collaborating with Student Administration Lead Administrator Louise Ross, Regional Marketing Manager Victoria McEniery, and International Student Recruitment Coordinator Rakesh Banerjee to showcase Otago's academic offerings and connect with potential students and collaborators. Her work strengthens ties between South Asia and the University of Otago.
