Rhani Lott serves as an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Law, where she teaches trial practice and cross-examination techniques. She earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2010 and her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Georgia's Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education in 2020, focusing her doctoral research on adjunct law faculty satisfaction. Prior to joining Emory Law in 2014, she completed a two-year Teach for America assignment in North Carolina and practiced law for four years in securities litigation and family law.

At Emory Law, Lott advanced through key administrative roles, including program manager and senior program coordinator for the Kessler-Eidson Trial Techniques Program, coordinating schedules for over 250 students and nearly 100 volunteer attorneys, judges, and corporate counsel each year. She served as assistant director of admissions, assistant director of student engagement from 2019, and long-time advisor to the Emory Law Mock Trial Society. She also contributed to the advisory board of Emory LGBTQ Legal Services, launched in 2018. In August 2021, she was promoted to director of Academic Advising and Bar Success, designing and implementing bar readiness programs such as additional courses, expanded preparation materials, review sessions, and alumni mentoring. She led a team providing personalized academic advising across degree programs through one-on-one sessions, workshops, and success planning, aligning with the school's strategic plan and building on initiatives like the Study Smarter Program and Dean’s Teaching Fellows.

In June 2022, Lott joined the National Institute for Trial Advocacy as Education Director, advancing to Associate Executive Director of Education, where she oversees faculty recruitment, training, development, and curriculum design. She continues her adjunct teaching at Emory Law and serves on the board of directors for Students Against Destructive Decisions.
