Rate My Professor Ramilan Thiagarajah

Associate Professor Ramilan Thiagarajah holds a PhD from the University of Waikato awarded in 2009. He serves as Associate Professor in Agribusiness in the School of Agriculture and Environment at Massey University. In this role he leads the Agribusiness Value Chains course for the ASEAN region and has previously served as President of the New Zealand Agricultural and Resource Economics Society for 2020/21. His research focuses on bioeconomic modelling of agrifood systems using mathematical programming, modelling of agrifood value chains using systems dynamics, and the development of decision tools. He has produced numerous peer-reviewed outputs addressing environmental policy, water economics, climate change, and development agriculture.
