About Rajesh

Dr. Rajesh Keshavrao Dase is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at SBES College of Science, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. He earned an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Statistics. His teaching portfolio includes Operation Research and Applied Statistics for B.Sc. specialization courses. Dr. Dase's research focuses on Artificial Neural Networks and Applied Statistics, with applications in health-related predictive modeling and biostatistics.

Prior to joining SBES College of Science, Dr. Dase served as Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at MGM Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad, starting from October 2015. His scholarly output includes key publications such as 'Diabetes Risk Prediction Using the Classification and Regression Tree Algorithm' co-authored with Jagdish D. Powar, Deepak Bhosle, Shyam Ashtekar, and Rakesh Patil (Journal of Community Health Research, 2026); 'A study on prediction of diabetes mellitus using artificial neural network' (The Bioscan, 2025); 'Nutritional Status of Children under Age 5 Years in India: A Cross-Sectional Study' (The Bioscan, 2024); 'Spatial and Geographical Determinants of Malnutrition among under five children' co-authored with others (International Journal of Membrane Science and Technology, 2023); 'Application of Artificial Intelligence in prediction type 2 diabetes mellitus' (PMR Journal, 2023); 'Study of anthropometric indices and it's co-relation with blood pressure in young healthy individuals' (International Journal of Community Medicine and Public Health, 2018); 'A study of waist circumference, waist-hip ratio as markers of type 2 diabetes mellitus and their correlation with family history of diabetes' (various journals); and 'Nutritional assessment of medical students' (International Journal of Medical and Clinical Research, 2010). He is a life member of the Indian Society for Medical Statistics and the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics. At the college, he coordinates the Mentor-Mentee system and Incubation Center, and serves on the Admission Committee, Placement Cell, Result Analysis Committee, and NEP Senior College Committee.
