Pru Raymond is an educator in the School of Education at Adelaide University. She earned her Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Adelaide in 2006. Since February 2026, she has served as an instructor, delivering tutorials for the course Classroom Management in Secondary Contexts (EDUC 1119). This undergraduate course prepares pre-service teachers to foster positive and safe learning environments in secondary contexts through proactive whole-school approaches, establishing rules and routines, high-quality instruction, positive relationships, and behavior management techniques. It also introduces foundational knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks to prevent and address misbehavior. Raymond's tutorials for this course take place on Tuesdays from 11:10am to 2pm at the Mawson Lakes campus in Building GP, GP2-33, across specified teaching periods including 24 March to 7 April.
In addition to EDUC 1119, Pru Raymond instructs tutorials for The Brain and Learning (PSYCX 200), a course owned by the School of Education that explores the relationship between brain function and learning processes pertinent to educational practice. Her tutorial sessions are scheduled at multiple locations, including Mawson Lakes campus in Sir Charles Todd SCT1-35 on Tuesdays from 3:10pm to 5pm, and at Adelaide City Campus East in Marjoribanks 1.28 on Wednesdays from 11:10am to 1pm, as well as Centenary C7-70 on Thursdays from 2:10pm to 4pm during designated weeks. Prior to joining Adelaide University, Raymond was a Casual Lecturer at the University of South Australia, where she supported Associate Professor Greg Vass in delivering Foundations in Education (EDUC 7218/4218). She brings experience from nearly two decades in secondary and tertiary education to her role training future teachers.
