Dr. S. Prasanna Kumar is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Jigyasa University, formerly Himgiri Zee University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He also serves as the NSS Programme Officer. Possessing qualifications including Ph.D., UGC-NET, M.Phil., M.Ed., M.A., and M.Sc., Dr. Kumar has accumulated over 16 years of teaching experience. His professional journey features appointments as Assistant Professor at the Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Shillong; Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Mysore; and University of Ladakh. In these capacities, he coordinated various extension and community outreach activities, promoting educational and social advancement.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar is recognized as a distinguished academician and researcher whose work spans teaching, research, and extension. His research domains include Educational Cognitive Science, Science Education, and Pedagogy of Science.
