Dr. Pinki Khanna serves as Professor in Food and Nutrition and Head of the Department of Home Science and Hospitality Management at the Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. With academic qualifications including a Ph.D. and M.Sc., she possesses 31 years, 9 months, and 10 days of academic and professional experience, all within NCERT institutions. In addition to her primary role, she holds additional charges as Head of the Programme Planning and Monitoring Centre (PPMC), which coordinates programme formulation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for institute activities under NCERT and Ministry of Education initiatives, and as Head of the Library. She also acts as State Coordinator for the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya.

Dr. Khanna has been the coordinator for numerous NSQF-aligned NCERT vocational textbooks in the Apparels sector, including "Hand Embroiderer (Addawala) (AMH/Q1010)" for Classes 9 and 10, "Sewing Machine Operator (AMH/Q0301)" for Classes 9 and 10, "Assistant Fashion Designer (AMH/Q1210)" for Classes 11 and 12, "Self Employed Tailor (AMH/Q1947)", "Packer (AMH/Q1407)", "Embroidery Machine Operator (AMH/Q0801)", "Export Assistant (AMH/Q1601)", "Fabric Checker (AMH/Q0101)", "Inline Checker (AMH/Q0102)", "Specialized Sewing Machine Operator (AMH/Q2301)", "Store Keeper (AMH/Q0501)", and "Finisher and Packer (AMH/Q2255)". In the Handicrafts and Carpet sector, her coordinated textbooks include "Jute Products Artisan (HCS/Q7405)", "Bamboo Work Artisan (HCS/Q8702)", and "Paper Mache Products Artisan (HSC/Q4401)" for Classes 11 and 12. Her contributions extend to organizing workshops, national consultations, and technical sessions on vocational education implementation.
