Pierluigi Di Lizia is an Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano. He is affiliated with the SPIRE Lab - Surveillance and ProxImity operations REsearch Lab. His research interests include astrodynamics, optimal control, space situational awareness, and high-order methods. Di Lizia teaches courses in aerospace mechanics and spacecraft guidance and navigation. He is involved in multiple research projects focused on space situational awareness, including EIC AstrAware, ESA LUMOS, LEONARDO CSSA, EDF23 EMISSARY, PNRR Space It Up! Spoke 1, PNRR ASTRO TWIN, and HORIZON EUROPE GEORyder.
