His research specializations include applications of CAD, bio-mechanics, Healthcare 4.0, and decision support systems. Key publications authored by Dr. Ghongade encompass "Analysis and Evaluation of Limb Alignment in Total Knee Replacement" published in Computer-Aided Design and Applications in 2013 with co-authors Ravi Warkhedkar and Ashok Shyam; "Experimental Evaluation Of Varus/Valgus Malalignment in Total Knee Replacement" in Cyber Times International Journal of Technology and Management in 2014; and "Optimization in Gating System in Jewelry Investment Casting: A Review" in Asian Journal of Advance and Basic Science in 2018 with Jyotsna Sinha.
