Rate My Professor Nathalie Martial-Braz

Professor Nathalie Martial-Braz is an established scholar in private law and digital regulation, with a strong record of publications and leadership in academia. Her doctoral research explored security interests in intellectual property rights, and she has since built a prolific body of work in leading legal journals such as Dalloz, JCP, Dalloz IP/IT, and RDBF. She is co-author of the reference book Droit français des données à caractère personnel (French Data Protection Law), published by Dalloz, and serves as Scientific Co-Director of the journal Communication Commerce électronique (LexisNexis). Her expertise in intellectual property, data protection, and the regulation of digital technologies makes her a recognized authority in the field. Alongside her academic work at Université Paris Cité, where she directed the Centre for Business Law and Management (CEDAG), she has played a pioneering role in developing innovative programmes such as France’s first Master’s dedicated to Data Protection Law.
