Dr. Mohana Bandkar serves as Associate Professor, Additional Vice-Principal, and Head of the Department of Economics at Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce and Economics Autonomous in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her academic qualifications include a Ph.D., NET qualification, and M.A. in Economics. She has been part of the college faculty for over three decades, with mentions in annual reports dating back to the 1993-94 academic year. In her leadership roles, Dr. Bandkar contributes to the College Development Committee as the HOD of Economics Department. She holds positions as IQAC Co-ordinator and NEP Co-ordinator, overseeing quality assurance and implementation of the National Education Policy. Additionally, she serves as Additional Administrator and is actively involved in academic administration, including issuing notices for internal assessments in subjects such as Micro Economics for FYBCOM Sem II and Public Finance for SYBCOM Sem IV in February 2026.
