Jury's research interests include noncommutative function theory, operator theory, complex analysis, random matrix theory, and free probability. His work explores composition operators on Hardy spaces, C*-algebras generated by groups of composition operators, ideal structures in free semigroupoid algebras from directed graphs, reproducing kernels and de Branges-Rovnyak spaces, Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation on distinguished varieties in the bidisk, factorization in weak products of complete Pick spaces, non-commutative rational functions in the full Fock space, and non-commutative Clark measures for Toeplitz algebras. Jury serves on the editorial board of Operators and Matrices and has presented seminars on topics such as free versions of the Strong Szegő Limit Theorem.
