Maria Raymond holds a Master's degree in Clinical Nurse Teaching, completed in 2023 from the University of Tasmania. She also possesses a Bachelor of Nursing (Post Registration) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. With 29 years of clinical nursing expertise and professional knowledge in acute care, she has a extensive career in clinical settings. From 2022 to 2024, she served as Clinical Nurse in the Pain Management Program at The Wesley Hospital. Her nursing career dates back to 1995, during which she gained substantial experience in patient care and clinical nursing practices.
In her current academic role at Griffith University, Maria Raymond focuses on teaching in nursing and midwifery, drawing from her long-standing clinical background to educate students.
