Prof. Dr. Manh Tien Tran is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Microsystems Technology (Fachbereich Informatik und Mikrosystemtechnik) at Hochschule Kaiserslautern, University of Applied Sciences, where he has held his position since 2000 at the Zweibrücken campus. Within the field of Computer Science, he specializes in teaching software engineering and programming languages (Softwaretechnik und Programmiersprachen).
