Rate My Professor Malar Jayaprakash

Malar Jayaprakash is the Project Coordinator (Learning and Teaching) in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. She works within the Science and Engineering Academic Development Team, part of the Office of the Provost, where she supports enhancements to learning and teaching practices across the faculty. Her career at Curtin University encompasses diverse roles across its international campuses. From January 2008 to December 2009, she served as Dean and Director of the Learning Centre at Curtin University Sarawak. Earlier, from February 2004 to December 2007, she was a Lecturer at Curtin University Malaysia, affiliated with the School of Business and the Department of Accounting and Business Information Systems.

Zain; and more recently, 'Equity by Design: Applying Equity-Centred Design Thinking to Curriculum Development' (2025). Additionally, she participated in the HERDSA 2025 conference and nominated colleagues for the Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Awards for Professional Staff in 2019.
