Maha Hadid is a Senior Instructor at Zayed University in the College of Technological Innovation. She holds a Master of Science in Information Sciences and Systems from the University of Aix-Marseille in France and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Communication Science from the American University of Technology in Lebanon. With over 15 years of experience in higher education, she joined Zayed University in Fall 2018 after serving as an adjunct instructor at institutions including the Higher Colleges of Technology, the American University in Dubai, and various universities in Lebanon. Her professional credentials include Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (UK), Certified Scrum Master, Certified QM Peer Reviewer, and a professional credential in low-code data science from the University of Oxford focused on low-code agentic AI systems.
Hadid focuses on developing high-standard IT curricula and blended learning environments. She is co-author of the Scopus-indexed textbook The Object-Oriented Approach to Problem Solving and Machine Learning with Python, published by Chapman & Hall/CRC in 2025. Her current work centers on agentic AI and advanced prompt engineering. She teaches undergraduate courses in system analysis and design, programming, management information systems, databases, statistics, and introduction to AI.
