Ms Maggie Ciranni serves as Clinical Lecturer - Midwifery & Clinical Lecturer in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work at the University of Queensland. This school is part of the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Midwifery from The University of Queensland and her Masters (Coursework) of Midwifery from the University of Newcastle. In her academic role, Ms Ciranni contributes significantly to midwifery education by lecturing in multiple courses tailored to developing clinical competencies in midwifery students. These courses include MIDW2102, where she is listed as the lecturer; NUMW3204 Clinical Midwifery Practice 7, for which she acts as course coordinator and lecturer; MIDW2109 Clinical Midwifery Practice 4a, as part of the course staff; and NUMW3103, as lecturer. Her involvement ensures students gain practical skills in midwifery practice.
Additionally, Ms Ciranni functions as the Continuity of Care experience Coordinator within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work.
