Professor Lynne Kennedy is a faculty member in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at Zayed University. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Liverpool (2004), a master’s degree in Health Promotion (1994), and an undergraduate degree in Nutrition from the University of Huddersfield (1990). With over 30 years of experience in academic public health, she has held advisory positions in public health and nutrition policy and practice. Her academic background was developed through training in the United Kingdom.
Professor Kennedy’s research and professional activities focus on public health and nutrition, health promotion, community health and wellbeing, policy design, implementation and evaluation, qualitative research, needs assessment, and mixed methods research. Her teaching areas include public health, health promotion, health policy, nutrition, and research methods. She is dedicated to teaching and learning while designing research to address population and global health challenges.
