About Lyle

Dr. Lyle Witt is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Division of Education & Professional Studies at God's Bible School and College, where he has been a key faculty member since 2010. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Religion (BAR) in Missions from Kansas City College & Bible School, a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Kansas, and a PhD in Leadership Studies from Johnson University, completed in 2023. His doctoral dissertation, titled 'Assessing Undergraduate Missions Programs Effectiveness in Preparing Graduates for Cross-Cultural Ministry,' available through ProQuest Dissertations and Theses, examines the preparation of students for international ministry roles. This scholarship highlights his focus on educational effectiveness within missions training, aligning with the institution's emphasis on ministerial preparation.

In his leadership capacity, Dr. Witt oversees the Education & Career department, managing programs across two-year, four-year undergraduate, and graduate levels, offered both on campus and online. He supervises the recruitment and responsibilities of adjunct faculty, full-time education faculty, and English faculty, ensuring quality instruction in professional studies. Dr. Witt coordinates study abroad opportunities, serving as the designated contact for program inquiries, and teaches graduate courses in leadership studies, covering foundational theories and current practices vital for educational and ministerial leaders.
