Dr Racheal Louis Vincent is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing within the School of Business at Monash University Malaysia. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Business from Sunway University in 2019, with a thesis titled "Extending the Extended Model of Goal-Directed Behavior to Understand Individual’s Consumption of Shared Services." She also holds a Master of International Business from Monash University awarded in 2010 and a Bachelor of Business (International Trade) from Victoria University in 2009. Before joining Monash, she worked as a lecturer in marketing at Sunway University and Sunway College for nine and a half years. Earlier in her career, she gained two years of industry experience. Additionally, she is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) and a HRD Corp Certified Trainer.
Her research focuses on shared consumption, particularly collaborative fashion consumption, alongside consumer behaviour, digital marketing, social media marketing, and the circular economy. Notable publications include "Luxury for Hire: Motivations to Use Closet Sharing" published in the Australasian Marketing Journal in 2021 with Sanjaya S. Gaur; co-editorship of the book "Marketing Case Studies in Emerging Markets: Contemporary Multi-industry Issues and Best-practices" by Springer in 2024; and a contribution to the Journal of International Business Studies in 2025 titled "The insights from the crowd: drawing inferences from many approaches to key empirical questions in international business." She has been recognized with Purple Letters for Teaching Excellence in Semester 1 2023 and Semester 2 2025, and is a co-recipient of the School of Business Research Seed Grant in 2025. Vincent has held roles such as Department of Marketing Coordinator from July 2023 to December 2024 and School of Business Assurance of Learning Specialist from February 2026 onwards. She has contributed to initiatives like the eiHUB Challenge in 2024 and 2025.
