Leandro Escobar serves as an Associated Collaborator in the Department of Quantitative Methods within the Faculty of Economics and Business (ICADE) at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where he has accumulated 21 years of teaching experience. He earned his Licenciatura en Derecho in 2001 and Licenciatura en Administración y Dirección de Empresas in 2002 from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, followed by a Diploma de Estudios Avanzados from Icade-Comillas in 2011. In his teaching portfolio, Escobar delivers courses such as Introduction to Statistics, Data Analysis and Visualization, Business Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Econometrics for bachelor's and master's levels, Statistics and Econometrics for Finance in the Master's in Finance, Quantitative Models for Economics and Business, and supervises Final Degree Projects. Since 2007, he has been Secretary General and Director Manager of the Asociación Profesional de Sociedades de Valoración (ATASA). Other roles include Member of the Membership Recognition and Standards Committee of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) since 2023, Member of the Executive Commission of the International Property Measurement Standards Coalition (IPMSC) since 2014, Permanent Representative to IVSC, IPMSC, and UPAV, former Board Member of TEGoVA, and Auditor for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2022.
