Professor Kris Singh serves as Adjunct Professor of Practice at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is the Founder, President, and CEO of the Service Research & Innovation Institute (SRII) in Silicon Valley, California, a role he has held since 2009. Kris Singh brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the IT industry, having worked at major Silicon Valley companies. At IBM Research, he was a Distinguished Engineer. He served as Director of Service Innovation at Intel and as Director of Platform Architecture at AMD. His extensive industry background informs his academic contributions, particularly in areas related to digital transformation and service innovation.
In his capacity at the University of Newcastle, Kris Singh engages in educational initiatives focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. He has participated in university events, including delivering a presentation on 'The Digital Economy and Global Disruption' organized by the University's Integrated Innovation Network (I2N) in November 2019. Kris Singh leads global online programs on Innovation & Entrepreneurship, which have been offered multiple years and are open to qualified participants worldwide. These programs cover topics such as the digital economy, AI applications, and emerging business models.
