Kirsti Oswalt, MPH, is an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Kinesiology, Health & Sport Sciences department at the University of Indianapolis. Having spent 10 years connected with UIndy, she began as a student-athlete on the track and field team where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and went on to receive her Master of Public Health while remaining on the team. She served as a graduate assistant on the track and field team while starting her professional career in corporate wellness working for the National Institute for Fitness and Sports.
Following graduate school, Kirsti Oswalt served as the Director of Contact Tracing at UIndy while continuing her coaching career as an Assistant on the track and field team. After the COVID pandemic slowly came to an end, she began working in an administrative setting for the athletics department and served as the compliance director. She currently holds the position of Volunteer Assistant Coach - Jumps for track and field. Oswalt possesses a wide range of experience in all things Kinesiology, Health & Sport Science. Her areas of expertise include health and wellness education, corporate wellness/fitness, health disparities, health promotion and disease prevention, and administration.
