Kelly Sudderth is a Lecturer in Business Administration in the School of Business at Western Colorado University. She holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University Rawls School of Business, both awarded in 2001. She also completed studies at Hochschule Reutlingen in Germany during the Fall 1999 semester. Sudderth discovered Western Colorado University through visits to the Gunnison Valley over 15 years ago. Her education in accounting has served as a launchpad into diverse professional fields, including public accounting, oil and gas, contemporary art, healthcare, and science. She employs strategic thinking, accounting, and financial analysis to help organizations and businesses, especially nonprofits, fulfill their missions.
In her teaching role, Kelly Sudderth delivers courses such as ACC 201 – Introduction to Financial Accounting, ACC 202 – Introduction to Managerial Accounting, ACC 301 – Intermediate Financial Accounting I, ACC 302 – Intermediate Financial Accounting II, ACC 450 – Advanced Financial Accounting, ACC 498 – Accounting Ethics, and BUAD 491 – Strategic Management, the business capstone course. She serves as a consultant for Tinworks Art in Bozeman, Montana, and for Campo Garzon in Garzon, Uruguay. Additionally, Sudderth works as an EMT with Gunnison Valley Hospital Paramedics.
