Rate My Professor Jo Donaldson

Jo Donaldson serves as the Finance Manager for Campus and Collegiate Life Services (CaCLS) Financial Services at the University of Otago. A Dunedin local, her professional career began in the banking sector before she transitioned to the tertiary education sector upon returning from her overseas experience. She has prior experience at other tertiary institutions and joined the University of Otago in 2014, holding positions in the Accommodation Centre, Colleges, and Health Sciences divisions. In 2018, Jo joined the CaCLS Finance Advisory team, where she now leads the Finance team alongside two Finance Associates, providing support to the CaCLS team for their financial reporting requirements.

In 2020, Jo Donaldson served as a nominator for the University Union Food and Retail Outlets Team, which received the Award for Sustainable Practice by Staff (Team). The award acknowledged the team's initiatives in sustainability, such as saving over 100,000 paper cups from landfill, reducing plastic usage, introducing a cup borrowing system, and promoting sustainable customer choices through engagement and integration into staff practices.
