Rate My Professor Jazmin Cromartie-Hicks

A proud alumna of High Point University, Dr. Cromartie-Hicks earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology there, marking the beginning of her pursuit in dentistry. She advanced her studies with a Master of Arts in Intercultural Services in Healthcare from Wake Forest University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the same institution. In her current roles, she plays a key part in student admissions and engagement initiatives at the Workman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cromartie-Hicks has contributed to academic literature as a co-author in the Journal of Dental Education. Her publications include 'Lessons learned from a non-traditional application process to dental school during COVID-19' (2024), which details adaptations in dental school admissions amid the pandemic, and 'Responding to emerging oral healthcare needs with CARE model-based interprofessional education' (2022), focusing on interprofessional education approaches at High Point University. Through these efforts, she supports the school's mission to prepare students for dental practice.
