Dr. Jayanthi Rajendran serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English at Easwari Engineering College, Ramapuram, Chennai-89, part of the SRM Group of institutions. She has been teaching English since 2007, accumulating over 17 years of experience in higher education focused on engineering students. Her previous appointments include Head of the Department of English Language and Linguistics at SIMATS Deemed University from October 2021 to June 2022 and Assistant Professor at Saveetha University from September 2014. Dr. Rajendran holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree and is a member of the Academic Council at Easwari Engineering College, contributing to academic governance and quality enhancement. She is also involved in the college's IQAC activities and serves as a faculty editor for student publications like The Veritas Gazette.
Dr. Rajendran's scholarly work centers on modern literature, literature studies, arts and humanities, American literature, cultural studies, and literary criticism, alongside pedagogical innovations for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners.
