Prof. Dr. Irene López is Professor of Business Psychology, Vice Dean of the Department, and Dean of Business Psychology and Applied Psychology at CBS International Business School in Cologne, Germany. She heads the Department of Business Psychology. López studied Psychology and completed her doctorate at Freie Universität Berlin. Her teaching and research center on work and organizational psychology, communication processes and their optimization, knowledge management, personnel and management development, psychological aspects of sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and green human resource management. In addition to her university roles, she serves as a coach and consultant in leadership programs and contributes to application-oriented projects on CSR and Smart Working.
López has produced a range of publications on pressing HR and organizational topics. She edited CSR und Wirtschaftspsychologie: Psychologische Strategien zur Förderung nachhaltigen Handelns (Springer, 2016) and co-edited Chancen und Herausforderungen des Home-Office with A. Karlshaus and S. Schwarz (CBS International Business School, 2022).
