Rate My Professor Ifeoma Ajunwa

Ajunwa's research examines law and technology, AI and ethics, privacy law, employment and labor law, and related fields. She is the author of The Quantified Worker: Law and Technology in the Modern Workplace (Cambridge University Press, 2023) and co-editor of the forthcoming Oxford Handbook of Algorithmic Governance and the Law (Oxford University Press, 2025). Selected publications include "A.I. and Captured Capital" (Yale Law Journal Forum, forthcoming 2025), "Automated Governance" (101 N.C. L. Rev. 355, 2023), "Automated Video Interviewing as the New Phrenology" (36 Berkeley Tech. L.J. 1173, 2022), and "The Auditing Imperative for Automated Hiring" (34 Harv. J.L. & Tech. 621, 2021). Her awards include the National Science Foundation CAREER Award (2019), Derrick A. Bell Award from the Association of American Law Schools (2018), election to the American Law Institute (2023), Life Fellowship in the American Bar Foundation (2023), and Fulbright Scholarship (2021-2022). Ajunwa has testified before the U.S. House Committee on Education and Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, contributed op-eds to the New York Times, Washington Post, and Harvard Business Review, and holds positions as Senior Correspondence Fellow at Yale Law School's Center for the Study of Private Law and Faculty Associate at Harvard's Berkman Klein Center.
