Hoda Abougamos earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Western Australia. Her doctoral thesis, completed in 2012, examined an economic analysis of surveillance and quality assurance as strategies to maintain grain market access.
She served as a Research Assistant in the School of Agriculture and Resource Economics at the University of Western Australia in 2012. Her research has included co-authored work on contracts for grain biosecurity and grain quality as well as managing evolving insecticide resistance in stored grain pests.
