Rate My Professor Gwynneth Cundall

In this capacity, Gwynneth Cundall serves as the designated contact for providing the full conceptual framework underpinning Initial Teacher Education Programmes upon request. This is explicitly stated in the official Professional Experience Handbooks for 2024, including the Master of Teaching and Learning Early Childhood Education (featuring EDUC475) and the Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education (covering EDPR101, EDPR201, EDPR301, and EDPR302). These handbooks outline structured professional experiences for student teachers in early childhood settings, focusing on progression through assessment, planning, curriculum knowledge, inquiry, relationships, bicultural practice aligned with the Treaty of Waitangi, and inclusive practices. Core principles emphasized include ako (reciprocal learning), kaitiakitanga (guardianship), equity, and transformative practice centered on āta (growing respectful relationships). Student teachers collaborate with mentor kaiako and associate kaiako during placements, supported by visiting lecturers for feedback and assessment. Inquiries related to these programmes and the conceptual framework are directed to her professional email address.
