Gina Clouston-Cain is the Lead Graduate Recruitment Adviser at the Career Development Centre, University of Otago. She holds a BCom in Marketing Management from the University of Otago and has worked across a variety of sectors, ranging from corporate, civic and not-for-profit organisations to higher education. Passionate about connecting with people and making magic happen, Gina loves working with organisations interested in connecting with Otago students. With over 12 years of experience at the University of Otago, she brings substantial expertise to her role in graduate recruitment and employer engagement.

Gina's role is responsible for all things graduate recruitment. She facilitates and develops external links with industry to ensure that there are ample opportunities for University of Otago students and graduates. Gina manages and organises on-campus employer graduate recruitment activities, including employer presentations and career expos such as the Business and Law Careers Expo, Tech Careers Expo, Careers Expo, and Inspiring Careers events. In 2024, Gina Clouston-Cain received the University of Otago Appreciation Award for her contributions to inclusivity efforts, particularly in supporting tauira with disabilities to help them succeed.
