About Flordeliza

Dr. Flordeliza E. Alvendia served as an Associate Professor V in the College of Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), where she held a Doctor in Educational Management (DEM). With a career spanning over 35 years, she was recognized in the PUP Gawad Parangal 2021 for her dedicated service as a College of Education faculty member and University Registrar. Dr. Alvendia occupied several pivotal administrative and academic positions, including University Registrar, Associate Dean of the College of Education, Chairperson of the Master in Library and Information Science program, and Chairperson of the Department of Library and Information Science within Graduate Studies. She also functioned as Course Specialist and Head of Student Services in the PUP Open University System (OUS), former guidance counselor of the university, Faculty Assistant in the Office of the Vice President for Finance, and an accreditor for the PUP Quality Assurance Center. Through her multifaceted involvement in teaching, administration, accreditation, and extension programs, Dr. Alvendia significantly influenced the academic and operational framework of PUP's College of Education and broader university community, exemplifying long-term commitment to educational management and library information sciences.
