Rate My Professor Erhan Bogan

Dr. Erhan Bogan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the College of Business Administration, University of Sharjah. He earned a bachelor's degree in tourism management from Akdeniz University in 2013, a master's degree in tourism and hospitality from Akdeniz University in 2015, and a Ph.D. in tourism management from Sakarya University in 2018. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Bogan held research and teaching positions at Adiyaman University, Akdeniz University, and Sakarya University, progressing from research assistant roles to associate professor in tourism guiding.

His research specializations center on human resource management, with particular focus on corporate social responsibility, organizational behavior, behavioral integrity, halal tourism, and Islamic tourism. Dr. Bogan has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, including the Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Tourism Management Perspectives, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management, Tourism Review, and Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management. He has also published an international book with Edward Elgar Publishing and contributed book chapters to volumes published by Routledge and Edward Elgar Publishing. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for several prominent journals in tourism, hospitality, and management.
